Algarve- the southern tip of Portugal is a wholeeeee<\/em> other world. Right off the flight from Porto to Faro- we felt like we landed on an island and were far from city life. We were not mad about this and we were craving the beach like you crave a big glass of water. Gimme Gimme!<\/p>\n

We checked into our amazing hotel<\/a><\/strong> <\/span>and felt like we were on a honeymoon. I frequently was pinching myself so my mind and body knew this was in fact real life.<\/p>\n

The south of Portugal’s\u00a0beauty is striking in a way that does not grow old. For 5\u00a0straight days, I lost my breath every time we drove over a new hill to reveal a fresh sprawling view\u00a0of the green water or a\u00a0cliff formation that peaked so high you wondered how it\u00a0ever got there to begin with.\u00a0I could look at the same water crashing into the same line of rocks for hours and feel just as awestruck when we left as I did when we arrived.\u00a0 It is a place that makes you fall in love with nature and the world.<\/p>\n

What I loved most about this part of the trip and country\u00a0was that I was able to reflect here. There were so many moments that left me\u00a0sitting with my\u00a0own thoughts in a scene that seemed not real and every thought left me feeling grateful. I realized how lucky I am to be ALIVE, to have my health and most importantly that I’m able to travel with my favourite person.\u00a0Because at the end of the day- you can go anywhere in the world……….. but its who you have by your side that matters.<\/p>\n

Thank you\u00a0to\u00a0the Algarve for taking a piece of my heart and to my love for taking good care of all of it.<\/p>\n
